Behind The Scenes

As a hairstylist for over 15 years I’ve worked in various capacities throughout my career. I’ve owned my own beauty salon, worked in a few upscale salons in Manhattan, and I’ve even  been a cosmetology instructor.  Eventually, all those paths led me to working as an  editorial / celebrity hairstylist.  This means that styling hair now consists of working on sets at photo shoots/music videos or in green rooms at television studios.

As a freelance artist  my work takes me to various locations outside of the typical salon environment.   As a result, I often interact with various celebrities and TV personalities. 

Currently, I’m one of the hairstylists on the team at the Tyra Banks Show, which is taped in New York City.
